Responsibilities
- Design and implement critical fraud-prevention features and scalable platform components.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve fraud incidents in collaboration with the fraud-analysis team.
- Develop resilient, performant services with other Fraud Prevention teams and advise on technical decisions.
- Develop backend functionality with Java, complex SQL queries, API integration and documentation, and job management.
- Build frontend functionality with React, HTML, and JavaScript using sound architecture and design practices.
- Lead incident resolution during technical on-call rotations and automate operational processes to improve team efficiency.
- Use observability and monitoring tools to support service stability and continuity.
Requirements
- Strong backend development skills with Java.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with APIs and jobs.
- Experience developing frontend functionality with React, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and good development practices.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Kibana.
- Knowledge of Nordic is desirable.
- Ability to learn quickly and work across technical and business challenges.
