Responsibilities
- Design and govern enterprise application architectures.
- Translate business requirements into technical concepts and communicate them between business and technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and coordination for international development teams.
- Ensure integration of development results into the Telekom system environment.
- Design and evaluate scalable, secure, maintainable, and sustainable system architectures.
- Enforce architecture governance, development standards, quality standards, and internal governance requirements.
- Design distributed systems and integration solutions.
- Maintain technical consistency across multiple systems and coordinate among specialist areas, architecture teams, and development teams.
- Consider complex systems and processes operating within the Telekom environment.
Requirements
- Several years of experience designing enterprise application architectures.
- Strong backend architecture experience with Java-based systems.
- Confident frontend architecture knowledge with Angular and/or React.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Thorough knowledge of distributed systems and integration solutions.
- Experience implementing complex requirements technically.
- Understanding of telecommunications systems and enterprise IT environments.
- Experience enforcing architecture governance and quality standards.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex topics clearly.
- German and English language proficiency at C1 level.
- Experience with scaled agile operations such as SAFe, value-stream organizations, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud architecture is advantageous.
- Experience collaborating with operations, service management, or SRE-related roles is advantageous.
- Architecture-level knowledge of security standards such as OWASP is advantageous.
- Experience with architecture reviews, decision-making, documentation, non-functional requirements, Jira, Confluence, and architecture documentation tools is advantageous.
- Experience working with multiple organizational units, external partners, workshops, and architectural decision facilitation is advantageous.
