Responsibilities
- Lead small-scale technical projects.
- Complete complex enhancements and bug fixes while providing technical support.
- Develop and maintain Python applications, APIs, ETL pipelines, and data services.
- Conduct code reviews, advocate coding standards, and identify technical risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and internal engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Adapt to new technologies, remove technical roadblocks, and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Support on-call responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of industry experience designing, developing, and deploying applications with Python.
- Experience with API development using FastAPI and REST-based services.
- Experience with ETL pipelines.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, or similar RDBMS.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and integrating AI capabilities into applications.
- Daily use of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
- Experience with cloud technology, including AWS.
- Experience with GitHub-based development processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and self-directed work skills.
- Flexibility with time zones or shifts and willingness to handle on-call responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Agile software development; Scrum experience is a plus.
