Responsibilities
- Use AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and prototype solutions.
- Build performant TypeScript and React frontend experiences with accessible, responsive, cross-browser-compatible component architectures.
- Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services using cloud-native architectures for high availability and reliability.
- Develop framework-agnostic micro frontend components for multiple platforms and applications.
- Architect and optimize end-to-end data flows from database design and API contracts through frontend state management and UI rendering.
- Own technical quality across attendee-facing platforms, including performance, security, reliability, and production readiness.
- Build and maintain component libraries and backend service modules aligned with design and architecture standards.
- Optimize applications through code splitting, caching, database query optimization, and API efficiency improvements.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle and mentor engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and learning sessions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack capabilities in production environments.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
- Expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, modern JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience with API design, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure, including Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, and API Gateway.
- Experience building component libraries, design systems, and micro frontend architectures.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices, with experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, own complex projects, and communicate across functions.
- Preferred experience with serverless architectures, event-driven systems, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, GraphQL subscriptions, CDN optimization, edge computing, A/B testing, feature flagging, technical initiatives across multiple teams, and platform modernization or technical migrations.

- The stated base salary is $148,500–$223,900 annually, or $178,900–$246,000 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas; compensation excludes bonus, equity, and benefits.
