Responsibilities
- Implement and support improvements that increase efficiency, software quality, and delivery speed.
- Collaborate across development, QA, IT operations, information security, and user-centered design teams.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Automate processes and write scripts using Python and Terraform.
- Monitor systems to support reliability and performance.
- Manage database schema changes and support architecture and integration activities.
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations and advise stakeholders on effective service delivery.
- Promote automation, proactive monitoring, continuous improvement, and DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Practical Python experience for automation scripting.
- Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, and integration.
- Experience with monitoring tools and database schema change management, such as Liquibase.
- Understanding of GitOps principles and containerization.
- Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.
- Willingness to travel, UK work authorization, and ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
