Responsibilities
- Build and own web features with React and support them with Java backend APIs.
- Provide technical leadership through estimation, delivery planning, project breakdown, context-setting, and accountability for results.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Review code, establish quality standards, mentor engineers, and support team processes.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including stakeholder communication and production issue debugging.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a fullstack software engineer working on user-facing applications.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, and one or more backend technologies such as Java or Rails.
- Experience running software on cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
- Experience with database technologies, preferably JPA, MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
- Fluency in English.
