Base Salary

$229k - $253k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, integrate, and maintain backend software applications and components.
  • Scale backend architecture and codebases to support organizational growth.
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
  • Design tests and test-automation suites, including unit and regression testing.
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts, technical documentation, and implementation solutions.
  • Evaluate compliance with technology standards and apply security and privacy principles.
  • Troubleshoot application problems and optimize performance using debugging and monitoring tools.
  • Consult with internal business groups, IT management, and technical staff on application requirements, implementation strategies, and emerging technologies.
  • Analyze business information and recommend solutions for application-related issues.
  • Complete professional development goals and remain current with emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with an accepted alternative of three years of university-level studies plus two years of experience toward the degree requirement.
  • Nine years of progressively responsible experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
  • Nine years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and analyzing financial or banking software applications using Java/J2EE and UI technologies.
  • Nine years of experience developing, modifying, and enhancing software architecture using REST, Web Services, Cache Frameworks, and Event Driven Frameworks.
  • Nine years of experience using JUnit for test plans, test cases, and unit regression testing.
  • Nine years of experience troubleshooting operating problems using Jira and Scrum.
  • Nine years of experience optimizing application performance using multithreading concepts and debugging tools including Eclipse, Log4j, and AppDynamics.

Benefits

  • The base salary range is $229,250.00–$253,000.00 per year, with individualized determination based on experience and market location.
  • Total compensation may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and company-sponsored benefits.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the New York, NY worksite.
  • The position is at-will.
