Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom software solutions and application components.
- Perform IBM Db2 database design, optimization, performance tuning, and integration with application frameworks and middleware.
- Analyze complex technical problems and deliver effective, maintainable software solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead process improvements that increase team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication around project goals and deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience with IBM Db2 is required.
- Proficiency in IBM Db2 is required.
- Experience with IBM Db2 database design, optimization, and performance tuning is required.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies is required.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable code and perform testing and debugging is required.
- Familiarity with integrating IBM Db2 with application frameworks and middleware is required.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills are required.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
