Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve critical and ambiguous connectivity problems for glasses and phones, including developing advanced pairing methods to support AI experiences.
- Manage wireless transports and select the optimal communication medium for each user experience.
- Partner with Wear OS, Android Auto, and Android Better Together to shape future Android platform iterations.
- Collaborate with glasses OEMs, product managers, technical program managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts and align expectations.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with C++ and Java.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with Android or embedded software.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
