Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered applications supporting Investment Research workflows.
- Build agentic AI solutions that retrieve, analyze, and synthesize internal and external research data.
- Develop intelligent document processing solutions using LLMs, OCR, NLP, and knowledge retrieval techniques.
- Create scalable APIs and backend services for AI-driven applications and integrations.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and cloud-native technologies.
- Design and implement RAG architectures and vector-based search solutions.
- Develop modern web applications for analysts and business users to interact with AI-powered tools.
- Partner with research analysts and technology colleagues to identify automation and workflow optimization opportunities.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, compliance, and scalability.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and contribute to the team’s AI roadmap and strategy.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Python and full-stack development.
- Experience building applications with Large Language Models, including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Experience developing agentic AI solutions using modern frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, prompt engineering, semantic search, vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems, and LLM evaluation and monitoring frameworks.
- Experience building production-grade APIs and backend services.
- Practical experience with Databricks or Snowflake and familiarity with Delta Lake, Spark, and modern data platform architectures.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, code quality, and delivery processes.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate ideas into production-ready solutions.
- Curiosity, innovation, and interest in applying AI to real-world business problems.
