Responsibilities
- Develop production-grade C++ and/or Rust software for air vehicle autonomy and multi-domain robotic systems.
- Build software involving significant data processing and analysis while navigating complex systems and established codebases.
- Develop and test multi-agent autonomous systems and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
- Develop features and algorithms informed by behavior trees, modeling and simulation, motion planning, and physical systems.
- Support flight systems, safety-critical functionality, distributed communication networks, and message standards.
- Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in operational environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of production-grade C++ and/or Rust experience in a Linux development environment.
- Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with physics, mathematics, motion planning, modeling and simulation, multi-agent autonomy, behavior trees, flight systems, safety-critical software, distributed communications, and military systems.
