Base Salary
$107k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient, scalable platform solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Provide technical input on feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Design, deploy, and support large-scale Kubernetes environments across multiple clusters, regions, or business units.
- Manage application and infrastructure lifecycles using Git-based GitOps practices, Argo CD, and Fleet.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners, provide technical insights, and contribute to technical decisions.
- Adopt best practices, technologies, and tools to improve productivity, efficiency, and code quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering within enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes expertise, including architecture, capacity planning, upgrades, networking, security, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting large-scale multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
- Extensive experience with Argo CD for enterprise continuous deployment, release automation, and governance.
- Hands-on experience with Fleet for enterprise-scale multi-cluster Kubernetes management and orchestration.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including enterprise networking, IAM, security controls, and cost optimization.
- Strong understanding of Docker, OCI standards, and enterprise container registries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; an HS diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience is also accepted.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to enterprise AI and automation initiatives, security best practices, regulated or compliance-driven environments, HIPAA, and PCI.
