Base Salary
$127k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test complex cross-functional software solutions.
- Lead in-depth code and design reviews and communicate technical updates and impacts to stakeholders.
- Organize work and lead multiple teams delivering features and technical solutions.
- Resolve complex production issues and lead end-to-end troubleshooting across applications and systems.
- Mentor and coach junior and experienced engineers on design principles.
- Collaborate with architecture and business leaders to define technology direction.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices and manage technology risks in accordance with compliance policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- 8 years of software development experience, including 2 years leading enterprise technology projects or initiatives.
- 6 years delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with software engineering languages and tools and the ability to develop on multiple platforms.
- Advanced experience leading code and design reviews and troubleshooting complex production issues.
- Deep understanding of one or more listed modern, AI, mainframe, application, database, cloud, or integration technologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies and tools.
- Preferred experience with Property and Casualty insurance, large-scale regulated environments, enterprise applications, legacy and modern technology stacks, generative AI, and AI-assisted engineering.
- US military experience or experience as a military spouse or domestic partner is preferred.
