Base Salary
$79k - $111k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, install, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify system enhancements, analyze and interpret code, and recommend programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to resolve application issues.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues and perform testing and debugging.
- Design and implement solutions using programming languages, microservices, cloud-native technologies, and event-driven architectures.
- Support CI/CD pipelines across on-premise and public cloud environments.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and serve as a subject matter expert to stakeholders.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, risk, and control issues appropriately.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant application development experience.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with hands-on software development experience.
- Experience with software delivery practices and software engineering practices such as unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure and using OpenShift, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native or container orchestration tools.
- Experience with event-driven design and architecture using technologies such as Kafka and Spark.
- Experience with Java microservices frameworks and service-oriented or microservices architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and TeamCity in on-premise and public cloud environments.
- Experience with REST and Hazelcast implementations; database concepts and web-based technologies are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, deadline-management, and adaptability skills.
- Financial services experience is preferred.
