Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions and experiences in enterprise customer environments.
- Design agent intelligence including prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems.
- Own technical components end-to-end from architecture selection through production deployment, validation, and observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Develop agent-performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
- Contribute to proofs of concept and MVPs, co-build with customers and partners, share best practices, and surface platform gaps and field insights.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer business challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience and at least one production system to demonstrate.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to deliver quality code, evaluate AI outputs rigorously, and collaborate with sales teams and customer architects.
- Willingness to experiment with evolving AI tools, models, and frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce platform experience or certifications, familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex, cloud data platform experience, and experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
