Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web application, shared-service, data-layer, and API features for the Connect solution.
- Model and evolve SQL Server databases with Entity Framework Core, including migrations, audit logging, identity, and role-based permissions.
- Build and support Azure-hosted solutions, including scheduled synchronization, bulk jobs, notifications, retention, and service-health checks.
- Develop and maintain integrations with NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe, Converge/PayTrace, and other business systems through REST and SOAP APIs.
- Maintain reliable two-way data synchronization, payment flows, authentication, webhooks, conflict resolution, and error handling.
- Write automated unit and end-to-end tests, maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, monitor platform health, and support production releases.
- Apply secure development practices for payment data, personal data, authorization, secrets, and credentials.
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported and production issues through root-cause analysis.
- Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical documentation.
- Mentor engineers, promote engineering standards, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with independent ownership of complex feature delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, dependency injection, middleware, and service-layer design.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework Core experience, including schema design, migrations, and query performance tuning.
- Practical Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure Functions, Blob Storage, and application monitoring.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, with SOAP, authentication, webhooks, and data synchronization patterns.
- Solid JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap front-end skills.
- Experience with automated testing, Git branching strategies, pull-request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of secure web application development and production support practices.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and independent collaboration skills.
