Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and event-driven solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Develop frontend applications using React.js as part of full-stack product delivery.
- Deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality software through automated testing, CI/CD, observability, performance tuning, and modern engineering practices.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production, integration, and performance issues using logging, tracing, metrics, and debugging tools.
- Own solutions end-to-end from technical design and development through deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform teams to deliver business outcomes and influence technical direction.
- Provide technical leadership through mentoring, stakeholder engagement, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of advanced backend engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience developing frontend applications with React.js.
- Strong experience designing cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes, with end-to-end production ownership.
- Deep knowledge of event-driven architecture, Kafka, Redis Streams, enterprise messaging patterns, and asynchronous processing at scale.
- Experience delivering secure, reliable, and quality-focused software using automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and performance tuning.
- Proven use of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot while maintaining security, governance, and engineering standards.
- Technical leadership, sound engineering judgment, communication, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring experience.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud, security, API, AI, or Agile certifications; AWS serverless experience; modern backend frameworks; enterprise API management tools; AI model selection and token optimization knowledge; and experience with AI agents, RAG, and agentic patterns.
