Responsibilities
- Lead technology and architecture workshops with prospective and existing banking clients.
- Define target-state architectures and position SaaS, private cloud, public cloud, or on-premises deployment models.
- Deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations covering integration patterns, the Extensibility Framework, security architecture, and Temenos point solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for CTO, architecture, infrastructure, and security stakeholders during pre-sales cycles.
- Own technical and architecture sections of RFIs, RFPs, and solution proposals.
- Design end-to-end Temenos solution propositions with sales, product management, delivery, and partner teams.
- Translate operational requirements into infrastructure sizing recommendations, integration blueprints, and migration strategies.
- Represent BSG at banking technology events, exhibitions, webinars, and other market engagements.
- Develop white papers, blog posts, technical content, demo environments, and architecture reference materials.
- Collaborate with sales on subscription licensing, procurement cycles, and budget timelines.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in solution architecture or senior technical pre-sales within banking, FinTech, or financial services software.
- A proven record designing and delivering mission-critical banking platform implementations, including architecture definition, infrastructure sizing, data migration, systems integration, and customization.
- Previous exposure to core banking or financial technology vendor environments with direct client-facing delivery or pre-sales involvement.
- Fluency in cloud infrastructure and platform services across Microsoft Azure and AWS, plus container or orchestration platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API management, middleware, and security architecture in regulated financial environments.
- Familiarity with retail and/or corporate banking operational processes and their supporting technology stacks.
- Working knowledge of cloud security frameworks, data residency requirements, and banking operational resilience standards such as CPS 230 and DORA.
- Ability to diagnose complex client needs and communicate solutions to technical and executive audiences.
- Strong communication skills across workshops, presentations, written proposals, and public speaking.
- Commercial literacy in enterprise software pricing, SaaS subscription structures, and bank procurement processes.
- Experience collaborating across sales, product, delivery, and partner teams in a matrixed organization.
