Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable features within the Alli application suite.
- Create architectural designs for reliable, complex, and highly scalable technical solutions.
- Build backend products and services that produce measurable client results.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote software development best practices.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to backend engineers.
- Develop and integrate APIs, databases, distributed systems, infrastructure automation, and monitoring solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or Go, or related experience, focused on scalable high-performance systems.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Flask.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Experience across requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineers.
- Advanced experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL, including query optimization and schema design.
- Familiarity with OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex, or LangChain.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for distributed systems.
- Expertise with Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack for monitoring and performance optimization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: familiarity with digital marketing and AWS certifications.
