Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize scalable full-stack applications with modern web technologies.
- Design and implement scalable services, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
- Build frontend applications and backend services using Java, integrating with databases and external systems.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and Ansible for cloud and infrastructure management.
- Optimize PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra database performance.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, design patterns, and scalable architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership and architectural decisions.
- Improve application availability, security, performance, monitoring, testing, automation, and development workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer focused on scalable web applications.
- Deep backend development experience with Java.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript and frontend framework experience with React.
- Expertise building APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and serverless computing.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and software supply chain security principles.
- Preferred experience providing technical leadership, driving projects, and mentoring engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a remote-first environment.
- Interest in open-source technologies and ongoing industry learning.
