Responsibilities
- Triage different types of embedded-system stability issues.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders during issue investigation and resolution.
- Debug embedded systems using appropriate debugging tools.
- Apply knowledge of embedded hardware, computer architecture, operating systems, and RTOS fundamentals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience; or a master's degree with 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and understanding of Assembly programming.
- Understanding of embedded hardware, computer architecture, operating-system concepts, and RTOS fundamentals.
- Awareness of debugger usage, such as gdb or Trace32.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior embedded-systems debugging experience is an added advantage.
