Base Salary

$96k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Set technical and product direction for the Code Plane team and drive its roadmap from discovery through launch.
  • Own a meaningful portion of Agentic Batch Changes end-to-end and ship critical product and technical features hands-on.
  • Make architecture, quality, prioritization, and technical trade-off decisions while keeping the team unblocked.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Solutions Engineering, customers, and design partners to turn feedback into roadmap decisions.
  • Lead work across Batch Changes, Agentic Batch Changes, Code Monitors, Code Insights, and the src CLI.
  • Mentor teammates, improve design/review/testing/delivery practices, and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong technical background providing guidance on architecture, code quality, and trade-offs.
  • Proven experience building end-user product features, ideally developer tools, AI-agent products, CLIs, or other technical product surfaces.
  • Experience partnering with Product and Design to take features from idea to shipment and incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps.
  • Customer-facing experience including discovery calls, design partnerships, and feedback loops.
  • Experience shipping products consumed by or built for AI agents, such as MCP servers, agent SDKs, agentic developer tooling, or agent-friendly CLIs.
  • Hands-on experience using and evaluating coding agents such as Amp, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.
  • Experience communicating asynchronously and working on globally distributed remote teams.
  • Preferred experience with Go, TypeScript/React, SvelteKit, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and multi-service environments.
  • Preferred experience with developer tools, code intelligence, code search, large-scale code transformation, monitoring, alerting, security scanners, lint platforms, code-quality tools, or pleasant human- and agent-facing CLIs.
  • Experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead on a software engineering team is preferred.
