Responsibilities
- Contribute as a member of a software development team.
- Write high-quality, secure, maintainable code.
- Participate in software development activities from design through rollout.
- Follow Mastercard security policies and practices and protect the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
- Report suspected information-security violations or breaches and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
- Available for the non-negotiable internship period from May 3, 2027, through July 23, 2027.
- Must have full working rights and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Exposure to algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
- Exposure to automated testing for verifying code correctness and expected behavior.
- Knowledge of source control management, deployment, and task-management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with debugging tools and diagnostic information such as stack traces, memory profiling, and code tracing.
