Responsibilities
- Guide customers in successful implementations of big data projects.
- Architect production-level workloads and optimize performance.
- Provide technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and security.
- Assist Solution Architects with advanced technical sales aspects.
- Improve community adoption through tutorials and presentations.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert in the Databricks Community.
Requirements
- Pre-sales or post-sales experience with external clients.
- Experience as a Data Platform engineer with production-grade big data systems.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure design and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience in designing security lakehouses on Databricks.
- Ability to design scalable and cost-effective cloud-based solutions.
- Deep knowledge of development tools and best practices.
- Production programming experience in Python, Scala, SQL, or R.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Databricks Certification is a plus.
