Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and support secure, scalable full-stack application capabilities.
  • Develop backend services, REST APIs, integrations, automation, supporting tools, and user-facing application features.
  • Build data ingestion, transformation, normalization, correlation, scoring, prioritization, reporting, and visualization capabilities across heterogeneous sources.
  • Model relationships and dependencies among assets, systems, and organizational entities for drill-down and risk analysis.
  • Implement role-based access control and role-differentiated user views.
  • Build software supporting post-quantum cryptography, cryptographic modernization, crypto-agility, risk analysis, and compliance workflows.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security validation, and deployment processes across development, staging, and production.
  • Build, deploy, and support containerized and cloud-native applications in collaboration with cloud and DevOps engineers.
  • Use and evaluate AI-assisted software development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and code analysis.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, deployment, and production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Participate in architecture, design discussions, code reviews, documentation, release management, deployment, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply secure software development and DevSecOps practices while translating cybersecurity and compliance requirements into software capabilities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated professional experience designing, developing, and supporting production software applications.
  • Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating external systems and services.
  • Experience with relational databases, data modeling, backend architecture, and modern front-end web development technologies.
  • Experience building data-intensive or data analytics applications involving ingestion, transformation, normalization, correlation, aggregation, analysis, reporting, or visualization.
  • Experience modeling and querying hierarchical, relational, or graph-like relationship data.
  • Experience in CI/CD and DevOps-based delivery environments, including automated builds, testing, deployments, version control, and releases.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and repeatable automated deployments.
  • Experience with Docker, containers, or managed container platforms.
  • Professional experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot software, integration, deployment, and production issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous, early-stage product environment and iterate without fully specified requirements.
  • Experience with Modular Open Systems Architecture and open-source technology.
  • Preferred experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, GRC, compliance, continuous monitoring, post-quantum cryptography, crypto-agility, or cryptographic inventory.
  • Preferred experience building entity-resolution, scoring, prioritization, ranking, recommendation, graph, or network-analysis capabilities.
  • Preferred experience with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, advanced AI-assisted workflows, or agentic software engineering.
  • Knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5, NIST CSF, FedRAMP, and FISMA requirements is preferred.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management, POA&M management, security controls, evidence collection, continuous monitoring, PKI, certificates, key management, cryptographic algorithms, and protocols is preferred.
  • Experience integrating security tools, cloud APIs, vulnerability scanners, SIEM platforms, asset inventory systems, or cybersecurity technologies such as Tychon, Tenable, and ServiceNow is preferred.
  • Experience supporting federal government, enterprise, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.
  • Software development experience with Python, Django, or Go and familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or other modern application languages.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance is required; DOD/DoW Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
