Base Salary
$143k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical consulting in software development, data engineering, data science, and DevOps by designing, automating, deploying, and maintaining scalable data solutions.
- Lead or collaborate across client engagements, including needs identification, business problem framing, project and sprint planning, analytics solution development, deployment, and recommendation development.
- Act as a technical lead, product owner, or scrum master; facilitate Agile or DevOps workflows, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver project milestones.
- Develop cloud architectures, automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows, and implement reliability, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Advise clients on technical and strategic solutions, identify technology-driven opportunities, and help plan scalable, sustainable, and efficient systems.
- Build client relationships, identify project opportunities, and support business development and solution creation.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- An M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related scientific or technical field.
- Three to six years of hands-on exposure to DevOps tools and practices.
- Expertise in software development, data engineering, data science, and DevOps, including ETL, workflow and pipeline automation, machine learning, analytics, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and system monitoring.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining data-intensive applications in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Proficiency in at least two of Python, R, C++, SQL, and Linux (RH 7+), plus experience developing across desktop, web, cloud, or embedded platforms.
- Experience with visualization or dashboard tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or custom web solutions.
- Strong communication, consulting, project management, organizational, business development, and client relationship skills.
- Experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- A track record of translating technical, scientific, and business concepts for diverse audiences and delivering solution-driven projects.
