Base Salary

$243k - $365k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver scalable, resilient, production-grade AI solutions using agentic systems, LLMs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
  • Define enterprise-wide architecture patterns, integration standards, technical direction, and reusable platform capabilities.
  • Lead AI-driven modernization of complex legacy systems through code transformation, service decomposition, and continuous optimization.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled software development lifecycle practices to improve engineering velocity and quality.
  • Establish technical standards, governance, monitoring, evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
  • Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to drive adoption of AI-assisted development and improve system performance and productivity.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and influence over enterprise technology decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 15 years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in distributed systems and large-scale architecture.
  • Experience delivering production-grade AI/ML systems at scale, agentic systems or complex LLM applications, and large-scale legacy modernization.
  • Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Deep experience with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Preferred: expertise in healthcare technology ecosystems, AWS, Azure, GCP, full-stack engineering, and secure cloud-native architecture.
  • Preferred: hands-on development and deployment of AI/ML solutions, including GenAI, LLMs, and modern AI development frameworks and tooling.
  • Preferred: knowledge of cloud infrastructure, IAM, encryption, network security, and cloud security best practices.
  • Preferred: experience driving DevSecOps adoption through automation, CI/CD optimization, infrastructure as code, and secure software delivery.
  • Preferred: exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
