Responsibilities
- Develop scalable APIs using Python and FastAPI to support AI healthcare tools.
- Implement real-time data processing for sensitive patient information while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Optimize databases for high-volume healthcare data and complex queries.
- Integrate third-party services and manage secure health record exchanges.
- Coordinate backend systems for AI tools and decision-making workflows.
- Automate healthcare compliance and monitor system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience with Python and API development.
- Proficiency in FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python web frameworks.
- Experience with cloud services and handling high-volume traffic.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and security best practices.
