Base Salary
$130k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own AWS cost optimization end-to-end, including EC2 right-sizing and resource cleanup.
- Build dashboards to track infrastructure spending and flag anomalies.
- Partner with engineering teams to eliminate waste and over-provisioned resources.
- Drive architectural decisions balancing cost, performance, and reliability.
- Analyze and reduce AI token spend across the platform.
- Collaborate with FinOps to forecast and track spending against budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
- 4+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure at scale.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cost tools and EC2 right-sizing strategies.
- Proficiency with Terraform and a high-level programming language like Go, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with LLM/AI infrastructure cost drivers is a strong plus.
