Responsibilities
- Centralize support functions for technology groups.
- Provide live support to resolve technology issues.
- Work on software projects to improve support infrastructure.
- Develop software in OCaml for trading and operational infrastructure.
- Analyze and respond to incidents in real-time.
- Perform routine operational work to handle technological problems.
- Propose and implement improvements to the production environment.
- Train junior engineers and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in software development and support.
- One year of experience developing software using OCaml.
- Experience managing software release cycles and QA processes.
- Experience using the Mercurial version control system.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and typeful software design.
- Experience programming on the Linux platform.
- Experience with on-premises servers and distributed state machines.
- Experience monitoring production trading systems.
