Responsibilities
- Produce diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans for QA systems and processes.
- Follow architectural guidelines and industry best practices when developing QA automation frameworks and systems.
- Use AI when appropriate to maximize effective test coverage.
- Write test automation validating front-end, backend, and database functionality.
- Develop and organize unit, integration, functional, and manual test cases.
- Work closely with support, customer success, and other cross-functional teams.
- Provide consistent progress and performance updates to senior management and the Executive Leadership Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least five years of individual-contributor experience in software testing, preferably in SaaS or technology-driven organizations.
- Experience writing test automation with modern frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres.
- Strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with CJIS compliance is highly preferred.
- Background in public safety, emergency communications, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and their security considerations is preferred.
- Experience with alternative datastores such as OpenSearch or Redshift is a major plus.
