Base Salary
$195k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build across the platform with JavaScript, including reliable Node.js backends and React user experiences.
- Build and scale the core API to handle millions of requests per day.
- Investigate and debug issues using monitoring and logging tools, and create clear action items for resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and interview prospective team members.
- Collaborate with the team to define the roadmap based on customer needs.
- Own projects end-to-end and make decisions about their technical and business implications.
Requirements
- At least five years of full-time software engineering experience, ideally with full-stack experience.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, Python, Java, or equivalent languages.
- Experience building scalable, production-level applications with a strong project history.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and break large solutions into smaller tasks.
- Ability to balance rapid execution with thoughtful, reliable implementation.
- Curiosity about new technologies and emerging fintech trends.
- Fintech or finance experience is a plus.
- Experience building data pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of payment rails such as ACH and RTP is a plus.
- DevOps experience with AWS, Cloudflare, and CI/CD tools is a plus.
