Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain internal-facing software products and solutions that automate business processes.
- Build APIs using modern object-oriented languages, preferably Java.
- Create architectural designs that meet business needs and deliver user-focused solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Management, team leadership, Business, Technology, Operations, and stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize solutions.
- Advocate for governance, documentation, and development processes while maintaining a frictionless user experience.
- Provide technical leadership, innovate within the team, and mentor and nurture engineers.
Requirements
- Exceptional programming skills and knowledge of building APIs using modern object-oriented languages, preferably Java.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, SOA, HTTP, and REST.
- Demonstrable experience creating architectural designs that meet business needs.
- Proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring and nurturing engineers.
- A user-focused mindset and the ability to capture process requirements and rapidly refine solutions.
- Experience and knowledge of cloud and AWS technologies.
