Responsibilities

  • Build, design, and architect new capabilities for Jitterbit’s Cloud Application products.
  • Develop robust, scalable, distributed, and multi-tenant SaaS applications across the full lifecycle.
  • Work across frontend and backend technologies including Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, and Go.
  • Deploy and support cloud applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product management, operations, Distinguished Engineers, and Architects.
  • Debug complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and contribute to a distributed remote team.
  • Mentor and support other engineers while driving key initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience building large-scale distributed applications.
  • Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
  • Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
  • Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
  • DataDog APM and logging experience is a bonus.
  • Experience developing and releasing with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions is a bonus.
