Responsibilities
- Build, design, and architect new capabilities for Jitterbit’s Cloud Application products.
- Develop robust, scalable, distributed, and multi-tenant SaaS applications across the full lifecycle.
- Work across frontend and backend technologies including Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, and Go.
- Deploy and support cloud applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, operations, Distinguished Engineers, and Architects.
- Debug complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and contribute to a distributed remote team.
- Mentor and support other engineers while driving key initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
- DataDog APM and logging experience is a bonus.
- Experience developing and releasing with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions is a bonus.
