Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain application delivery infrastructure across cloud and edge platforms.
  • Automate load balancing configurations, content delivery, infrastructure workflows, and operational tooling.
  • Deploy, operate, and support containerized applications on cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes.
  • Manage AWS compute, storage, DNS, IAM, load balancers, and routing policies.
  • Configure and operate Akamai content delivery, ION properties, Cloudlets, and Global Traffic Manager.
  • Monitor application health, analyze logs and metrics, resolve incidents, and optimize reliability, scalability, and cost.
  • Create deployment and incident-response runbooks and collaborate with engineering and product teams on releases and changes.
  • Design NoSQL data models, partitioning strategies, consistency settings, indexes, and query optimizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field plus seven years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, a master’s degree in one of the listed or related fields plus five years of relevant experience.
  • Five years of experience using Python or Java to build automation and tooling integrating vendor and SaaS APIs, including unit tests, error handling, and CI integration.
  • Three years of experience managing EC2, S3, Route 53, IAM identities and policies, DNS records, routing policies, and least-privilege access controls.
  • Two years of experience with Akamai ION, Cloudlets, Global Traffic Manager, Kubernetes, AWS Load Balancers, high availability, resilience, cost optimization, and at least one of Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • One year of experience with Cloudflare or AWS CloudFront, Angular or React, and Shell Scripting, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Experience with deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code modularization, environment separation, TLS termination, health checks, and failover requirements.
