Responsibilities
- Build and operate Docker and Kubernetes container platforms, including deployments, scaling, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain Linux-based CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, packaging, and deploying software.
- Manage Artifactory repositories and artifact publishing, promotion, retention, and access controls.
- Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Support MySQL and Kafka in production, including configuration, troubleshooting, backups, monitoring, and operational support.
- Implement capacity planning, patching, configuration management, and infrastructure standardization.
- Improve logging, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, and incident response using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
- Configure and support load balancers and traffic-management patterns such as routing, health checks, TLS termination, and failover.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, resiliency planning, runbooks, testing, and failure exercises.
- Automate environment provisioning, deployment, validation, remediation, and reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to improve platform stability and delivery practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including workloads, configurations, secrets, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Artifactory repository management and artifact promotion.
- Solid Linux fundamentals, including system troubleshooting, processes, networking, and scripting.
- Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on Terraform experience with modules, state, remote backends, and environments.
- Working experience with MySQL operations, backup and restore concepts, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
- Working experience with Kafka topics, partitions, producers, consumers, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar observability and telemetry tools.
- Understanding of load balancing and operational support in production environments.
- Practical experience supporting high availability, sustained operations, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Preferred experience with service mesh, ingress controllers, Kubernetes policy controls, secrets management, SBOMs, signing, scanning, regulated environments, incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
- Preferred exposure to the SecuriThings device management platform and relevant Kubernetes or Docker certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
