Responsibilities
- Build and improve backend systems through greenfield development and enhancement of existing systems.
- Develop APIs and services supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Use Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
- Apply maintainable business-logic practices, including clean code, test-driven development, domain-driven design, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to build products used by millions of people.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in backend development and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Evidence of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- Ability to learn quickly and work with an ambitious, results-driven approach.
