Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, troubleshoot, and maintain secure and stable software components.
- Build and support automated testing solutions using Selenium, Playwright, API automation, Java, Python, and SQL.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and code improvement.
- Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding practices, and responsible data handling.
- Analyze diverse data sets and consider upstream and downstream technical dependencies when developing solutions.
- Apply software development lifecycle processes, technical troubleshooting, application resiliency, and security practices.
- Develop and deploy microservices using AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, Elastic Container Service, and EC2.
- Write Terraform scripts and support deployments in AWS production environments.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and code maintenance.
- Experience developing in one or more modern programming languages and using database query languages in a large corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack Java enterprise application development and at least 2 years of Java 17+ experience.
- Preferred experience includes microservices, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, Elastic Container Service, EC2, Terraform, and AWS production deployments.
- Experience with at least one relational database management system, preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL.
