Responsibilities
- Monitor product, system, and network quality across correctness, functionality, scalability, reliability, performance, and other quality dimensions.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and functional or performance test frameworks.
- Perform systems integration, end-to-end integration, regression, and quality-control testing.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.
- Create and maintain test plans and test cases and report and manage defects using tracking tools.
- Integrate applications into monitoring solutions and support timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Drive continuous improvements in testing procedures and automated testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on functional testing experience, with a strong focus on systems integration testing and end-to-end integration testing.
- Expertise in test case design, execution, defect reporting, and requirement analysis, with knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle processes.
- Practical exposure to test automation for web or desktop applications using Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent tools; API automation experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Java or Python and understanding of web, REST, and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL query writing.
- Experience or familiarity with SOAP-UI, Jenkins, Git, Copilot, or other AI tools.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA and Xray or similar platforms.
- Understanding of server-client concepts and experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, written, and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience in global environments, testing simulators or hardware, ATM systems, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
