Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture and delivery of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain solutions, including design, implementation, deployment, and adoption.
- Serve as the technical authority for Dynamics 365 implementations and remain accountable for solution success and production outcomes.
- Define and govern customization, extension, environmental, release, and deployment strategies in alignment with Microsoft best practices and One Version requirements.
- Architect, explain, and troubleshoot integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems using Azure integration services, APIs, Dataverse, and Dual-write.
- Establish Azure, ALM, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, source control, release governance, and safe production promotion.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, supportable technical designs balancing configuration and customization.
- Design solutions for testing, monitoring, alerting, failure visibility, operability, maintainability, and long-term stability.
- Use Dynamics Lifecycle Services for monitoring, release governance, and production support.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Finance & Supply Chain workloads and multiple full-cycle Dynamics implementations.
- Experience owning the design, implementation, deployment, adoption, and production success of Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Ability to review, prototype, and assess custom code, including hands-on X++, .NET/C#, JavaScript, plugins, and workflows.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 extension models, customization limits, Microsoft One Version updates, and appropriate versus risky customization.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting enterprise integration patterns using REST and SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Dataverse, and Dual-write.
- Experience with data migration, cross-environment data flow, cloud governance, ALM, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, source control, and DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD strategies.
- Experience using Dynamics Lifecycle Services for monitoring, release governance, and production support, including rollback and deployment cadence strategies.
- Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, warehouse, and customer engagement processes, including Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service.
- Knowledge of testing strategies, edge cases, integration testing, monitoring, alerting, and failure visibility.
- BA/BS degree and typically 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft MB-700: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect certification and experience with large-scale or enterprise Dynamics 365 implementations are preferred.
