Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale Android applications supporting complex real-time interactions at global scale.
- Lead architectural improvements and code reviews for a maintainable, observable, and operationally healthy mobile codebase.
- Partner with product managers and experience designers on project planning, technical decisions, and roadmap direction.
- Own large-scale features from design through production delivery and promote operational readiness.
- Mentor colleagues and participate in the engineering hiring process.
Requirements
- Significant experience building Android applications at scale.
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK, AndroidX, and Android Studio.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience scaling Android architecture and delivering high-performance mobile experiences.
- Demonstrated ownership of technical delivery, implementation choices, and technical design within cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to readable, well-designed, and thoroughly tested mobile code.
