Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug components for large-scale, high-speed distributed systems.
- Own scalability, availability, and security requirements.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for robust code and functional coverage.
- Create enterprise-class documentation for internal and external collaboration.
- Break down complex work, plan execution, and deliver software effectively.
- Collaborate with teammates to improve technology standards and apply engineering best practices.
- Participate in an agile development environment and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of significant hands-on coding experience with Golang, preferably in a product development environment.
- Strong programming, software design, problem-solving, coding, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- Solid understanding of concurrency and multithreading, with an interest in building high-performance systems.
- Experience architecting microservices and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency storage, cloud computing, NoSQL databases, big data analytics, machine learning services, or large-scale systems is preferred.
