Base Salary
$101k - $153k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications.
- Maintain existing software applications and debug and diagnose deployed software systems.
- Participate in software test review, analysis, witnessing, and certification.
- Test, analyze, and debug software applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers and the lead software developer to understand system requirements and capability roadmaps.
- Interact with business development and customer success teams to support deployed systems and develop new capabilities.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical risks and issues.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expert programming ability with C/C++ or Python is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in C++ application development is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency with Linux is required.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems is required.
- Experience with data acquisition or embedded sensor systems is desired.
- Experience with digital RF systems, including Software Defined Radio, is desired.
- Experience working with highly threaded code bases is desired.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment are required.
- U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee/refugee, or an individual approved for an applicable export license is required.
