Base Salary

$200k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

Turn loosely defined ideas into shipped production features and make architectural decisions across AI systems, backend, and frontend.
Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade LLM-powered and agentic systems handling real user traffic and failure modes.
Build multi-step workflows with reasoning, tool use, structured outputs, autonomy controls, and reliability mechanisms.
Create AI-native user interfaces with streaming, feedback loops, and iterative workflows.
Integrate APIs, retrieval systems, and external actions into AI workflows and collaborate with AI Infrastructure on tool behavior.
Build evaluation and feedback loops, guardrails, and monitoring while optimizing latency, cost, and accuracy.
Work across backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and frontend experiences, iterating based on real usage.

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, data structures, and clean code.
Proven track record of building and shipping production systems.
Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript and ability to work across a polyglot stack.
Experience building AI-powered applications in production.
Hands-on experience with agentic or multi-step AI systems and APIs or tool integrations within AI systems.
Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Preferred experience includes end-to-end agentic applications, LangGraph, LangChain, evaluation or observability systems, RAG systems, vector databases, AWS or GCP, and regulated domains such as finance, legal, real estate, or healthcare.
