Base Salary
$129k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Test features in the Splunk Cloud offering.
- Develop and update documentation for configuration and infrastructure changes.
- Execute configuration and infrastructure changes in customer cloud environments.
- Lead customer-related incidents and troubleshoot the Splunk Cloud platform.
- Develop and update automation tools.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to support large-scale cloud operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Linux experience.
- At least 2 years of scripting experience with Python, Golang, or Bash.
- At least 3 years of experience working on distributed systems.
- At least 1 year of experience participating in incident management.
- Must be willing and able to acquire the SplunkCloud Architect Certification and either the Splunk administration or Splunk Power User certificate within the first 2 years of employment.
- Experience with Puppet and Jenkins.
- Experience with AWS or GCP, with AWS preferred.
- Experience scripting with PowerShell.
- Microsoft Azure experience is a plus.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification and/or experience is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Person and may need to meet requirements for work that can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.
- Must be able to work Wednesday through Saturday, midnight to 10 a.m. EST, including nights, weekends, and on-call coverage during the shift.
