Base Salary
$192k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build agentic systems for onboarding, offboarding, compensation analysis, policy Q&A, and HR service delivery workflows.
- Define agent design patterns, tool-calling conventions, retrieval-augmented pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop guardrails.
- Integrate People Technology systems and data sources through Databricks Unity Catalog and MCP-style interfaces.
- Set engineering standards, review designs, and lead architectural reviews across the People Technology roadmap.
- Translate agentic capabilities into business outcomes for People, Legal, and Finance stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers on AI-first engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building production LLM or agentic applications.
- Deep fluency in Python and experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including GraphQL APIs, event-driven architecture, and programmatic SaaS HR/HCM integrations.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, or equivalent data platforms and AI applications built on lakehouse or warehouse architectures.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in driving architecture decisions, writing RFCs, and raising engineering quality without management authority.
- Experience in People Tech, HR tech, or internal tooling is preferred.
- Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, or similar enterprise HR platforms is preferred.
- Experience evaluating and red-teaming LLM agents for safety, reliability, and correctness is preferred.
