Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, maintain, enhance, test, and debug Java and Java EE applications.
- Develop multi-tier applications, RESTful and SOAP web services, software enhancements, and new products.
- Participate in requirements analysis and architectural discussions and create high-level and detailed designs.
- Lead delivery of multiple modules and manage a team of 5–10 members.
- Design databases and implement SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
- Create required project and delivery documentation.
- Support high availability, high performance, secure coding, PCI, and OWASP standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Core Java, Java 7/8/11, J2EE, object-oriented design, design patterns, and design principles.
- Experience with Servlets, JSP, RESTful web services, SOAP web services, Spring Boot, Struts, Spring Framework, Hibernate or another ORM, and microservices.
- Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, database design, application servers, and web servers.
- Experience with JMS or EJB, WebSphere or another application server, and Tomcat or another web server.
- Knowledge of ReactJS or Angular UI frameworks.
- Experience with defect management tools such as Jira and code repository clients such as SVN or Git.
- Experience leading small teams and delivering projects or modules.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle practices, secure coding standards, PCI, and OWASP.
