Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, configuration, enhancement, and deployment of MES applications and solutions.
- Translate business, operational, and technical requirements into MES designs, workflows, data models, and integrations.
- Develop maintainable object-oriented code and support MES integration with ERP, databases, machine interfaces, automation systems, and reporting tools.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for production MES issues, performing troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and resolution.
- Provide advanced live-manufacturing support, including break/fix support, performance monitoring, and issue prevention.
- Drive improvements to MES processes, application design, scripting, documentation, training, workflow efficiency, and system reliability.
- Support testing, validation, deployment, change control, technical documentation, solution design, support procedures, and user training.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across MES development and support activities.
- Support on-site operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing Systems, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in MES development, implementation, integration, and support within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MES platforms such as Rockwell FactoryTalk ProductionCentre, Camstar, Siemens Opcenter, or similar systems.
- Strong experience with Java or C# and relational database technologies such as SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting business-critical or production-critical applications in manufacturing settings.
- Experience with web services and integration technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems is desired.
- Familiarity with PLC communication protocols and machine or equipment integration is desired.
- Experience with manufacturing reporting, data analytics, visualization tools, or regulated manufacturing environments is desired.
