Responsibilities
- Investigate complex field issues using Android diagnostic tools.
- Reproduce failures in-lab using specialized stress-testing tools.
- Monitor stability metrics and develop simulations for reliability.
- Participate in new product bring-up and peripheral integration.
- Develop and adapt Linux kernel drivers and device trees.
- Create Android OS APIs while maintaining security policies.
- Maintain AOSP build configurations and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop test suites for automated validation of BSP features.
- Deconstruct requirements into actionable Jira stories.
- Drive technical proposals and updates for global stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Android OS and Linux Kernel.
- Experience triaging stack-wide issues using Android diagnostic tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience developing in C/C++ and debugging within the Linux Kernel.
- Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware teams.
- Experience with AOSP build infrastructure and deployment.
- Proficiency with source control and code review workflows.
- Passion for solving large-scale hardware and software problems.
