Responsibilities
- Build and ship FC App features including management dashboards, shift planning, slotting, roster and labor tracking, and operational workflows.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and LLM APIs while owning code quality, cost, latency, and maintainability.
- Design and deploy AI-powered solutions and agents for fulfillment-center operations, including multimodal document and data processing.
- Implement appropriate evaluations, guardrails, observability, QA, security, and documentation for AI solutions.
- Partner with fulfillment-center leadership, operators, and technology teams to identify pain points and prioritize the automation backlog.
- Integrate data sources including Dayforce, S&OP forecasts, the 21-day plan, and toolkit tables.
- Expand AI and automation across fulfillment-center operations and communicate timelines, trade-offs, and expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Full-stack development and coding skills in Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Ability to integrate systems, leverage APIs, and build custom solutions beyond no-code tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted and agentic development, including Cursor, Claude Code, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, and APIs.
- Experience with evaluations, observability or tracing, guardrails, MCP servers, or orchestration tools such as n8n or Agent SDK is preferred.
- Ability to translate operational needs into software, scope opportunities, iterate based on feedback, and deliver results with increasing independence.
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Fulfillment, operations, or ecommerce experience is a plus.
